Following their respective defeats to the traditional giants of La Liga last week, Sevilla and Villarreal convene on Saturday afternoon at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Both sides bounced back with Copa del Rey wins in midweek but will be keen to taste success again in the league - particularly the underperforming away side, who trail their hosts by some 12 points and eight places in the table.
We say: Sevilla 2-1 Villarreal
There are several reasons why Sevilla should triumph on Saturday, not least their unbeaten home streak compared to their visitors' woeful winless start away from home.
The Andalusians have also assembled several dangerous attacking options in a deepening squad, which will leave too much work to do for the returning Gerard Moreno to bale out his misfiring Villarreal colleagues.

Barcelona vs. Real Betis (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Barcelona will be looking to make it three La Liga victories in a row under new head coach Xavi when they welcome Real Betis to Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.
The Catalan giants will enter the contest off the back of a 3-1 victory at Villarreal last weekend, while Betis were in Copa del Rey action on Wednesday, recording a 4-0 win over CFI Alicante.
We say: Barcelona 2-1 Real Betis
This is a very, very difficult match for Barcelona against a talented Betis outfit, and it would not be a surprise to see a draw or an away victory on Saturday afternoon. Xavi's team were impressive at Villarreal last weekend, though, and we are expecting them to pick up another important three points.

Atletico vs. Mallorca (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Atletico Madrid will be looking to make it three La Liga victories in a row when they continue their 2021-22 campaign at home to Mallorca on Saturday evening.
Diego Simeone's side are currently second in Spain's top flight, seven points behind leaders Real Madrid, while Mallorca occupy 14th, four points outside the relegation zone.
We say: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Mallorca
Mallorca have proved difficult to beat in recent weeks, drawing plenty of matches, but it is always difficult to back against Atletico at Wanda Metropolitano, and we are expecting Simeone's side to pick up another important three points in pursuit of Real Madrid.

Real Sociedad vs. Real Madrid (Saturday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Real Madrid will be looking to make it eight straight victories in all competitions when they head to San Sebastian on Saturday night to face Real Sociedad.
Los Blancos are currently top of the table, seven points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid, while Real Sociedad sit third in the division, also seven points off the summit.
We say: Real Sociedad 1-2 Real Madrid
Real Madrid's impressive winning run will come to an end at some point, but we are expecting Los Blancos to triumph here. Real Sociedad deserve a lot of respect for their form this season, but the Basque side are missing two influential midfielders, and we fancy Los Blancos to edge a close contest on Saturday.
