Steven Fletcher willing for Scotland return

Steve Fletcher reveals that he is willing to make a return to the Scotland team following a 17-month absence.

Steven Fletcher has revealed that he is willing to play for Scotland again following a 17-month absence from the national side.

The Sunderland forward has not been picked by manager Craig Levein since pulling out of the squad to play Northern Ireland last February.

However, when he was asked on Twitter "would you pull on your Scotland jersey next month if Craig Levein asked you to come back?" the 25-year-old replied "yes".

Levein recently suggested that he would not pick Fletcher for the Scots' 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.
