Aberdeen sign former Manchester City striker Joe Nuttall

Aberdeen sign 18-year-old striker Joe Nuttall on a free transfer from Manchester City.

Aberdeen have signed former Manchester City striker Joe Nuttall on a two-year contract.

The 18-year-old impressed on trial at Pittodrie after his contract with Manchester City expired.

"I am very happy to be joining Aberdeen, as it is such an historic club with a fantastic following. I'm really looking forward to what will be an exciting project ahead. I would also like to thank everyone at Manchester City for the last couple of years in contributing to my development," Nuttall told the club's official website.

The Dons finished second in the Scottish Premiership table last season.
