Preview: AC Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole previews the clash at the San Siro between AC Milan and Napoli.

AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is under pressure to deliver three points against Napoli at the San Siro on Sunday evening.

The Rossoneri have won just once in their last seven in Serie A, but despite their poor form, they still sit in seventh position and could potentially overtake Napoli with a win

Andrea Poli and Giampaolo Pazzini could earn a start but Fernando Torres is expected to miss out after reports suggested that he will return to Chelsea in January.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has guided his side on a run of 10 games without defeat but too many draws have hindered the club's progress in the league.

The visitors have lost just twice in 14 games but six draws have resulted in Gli Azzurri sitting 11 points off the pace after 14 games.

After scoring in his side's last three games, Duvan Zapata is likely to keep place in attack, which could mean that Gonzalo Higuain remains on the substitutes' bench.

However, midfielder Gokhan Inler is pushing for a recall after his involvement in Napoli's 3-0 win over Slovan Bratislava on Thursday night.
