AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has insisted that star striker Mario Balotelli will not be leaving the club this summer, amid the interest from Premier League side Arsenal.
Galliani said that he did not understand the criticism that Balotelli has received following Italy's early exit from the World Cup, and would be making sure that the player was not sold.
"Balotelli will remain at Milan," he told the club's official website. "I don't like that it seems as though the national team lost due to Balotelli. Italy lost for other reasons.
"It's not understood why people only talk about Balotelli, when the national team had a coach, technical staff and 22 other players."
Arsene Wenger recently denied that his side were in talks to sign Balotelli.
