Arsenal's new signing Alexandre Lacazette has claimed that the club play the "best football" in England, and it has been a "dream" of his to join the North London outfit.
The Premier League giants announced on Wednesday that the France international has signed a long-term deal at the Emirates after leaving Lyon.
The club have not revealed the cost of Lacazette's signature, but widespread reports have suggested that it is a club-record fee of £52m.
The forward was initially expected to join Atletico Madrid before the club's transfer ban was upheld, and now he finds himself part of Arsene Wenger's team.
"I am, of course, delighted and very proud too because Arsenal is a legendary club," Lacazette told the club's official website. "Throughout my childhood, thanks to Thierry Henry and other French players, I always dreamed of playing for this club so today that dream has been fulfilled.
"I like clubs with a history. Also the fact that the manager has been here for a while shows that it is a stable club which I like. In addition there are quite a few French players here, which makes it easier to settle in. In my opinion, Arsenal is also the club that plays the best football in England so I really wanted to come here."
During his seven-year spell at Lyon, Lacazette scored 129 goals in 275 appearances.
