Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is pleased with his side's turnaround in form after their 1-0 win at home to Everton.

Robin van Persie's second-half volley was enough to lift the Gunners up to fourth place in the Premier League table after a poor string of results at the start of the season.

"We had a very bad start [to the season] but now we are consistent. The spirit is very good, we're very focused," Wenger told BBC Sport. "The consistency is highly needed and if we can maintain that we have a good chance [of doing well]."

The North London club travel to Manchester City in the league next weekend.
