The agent of Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara has claimed that Arsenal are interested in his client.
Diawara, 23, joined Roma from Napoli last summer and made 31 appearances for I Giallorossi during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing one goal and one assist in the process.
Despite penning a five-year deal upon his arrival in the Italian capital, there have been suggestions that the midfielder could move on this summer, with the Gunners thought to be interested.
According to Daniele Piraino, who represents Diawara, the Guinea international is "liked" by Arsenal, who are thought to be exploring the possibility of a swap deal for Lucas Torreira.
"He is concentrated on his career. Diawara is at a top club like Roma, where he is happy, as there is enthusiasm around the new owners," Piraino told TuttoMercatoWeb.
"However, he is also liked by many clubs in England, including Arsenal. Being linked with certain clubs is pleasing for him, as these are prestigious sides. Amadou is concentrated on football and his career."
Arsenal are also said to be interested in signing Brentford attacker Said Benrahma.
