Barcelona winger Jose Arnaiz has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window.
During the summer, Barca completed the signing of Arnaiz after he had spent two years in the first team at Valladolid, and the 22-year-old was recently given his debut at Camp Nou in the Copa del Rey.
Arnaiz came off the bench to score against Real Murcia but regular first-team opportunities remain in doubt. and according to Marca, Arsenal have shown an interest in signing the attacker.
The Gunners are allegedly prepared to meet the player's release clause of €20m (£17.7m) and it has been suggested that Arsene Wenger may make an approach at the start of 2018.
Since moving to the Catalan giants, Arnaiz has largely represented Barcelona B, with six goals coming from 18 appearances.
