Arsenal are reportedly considering offering defender Mathieu Debuchy as a makeweight in a deal to sign West Bromwich Albion centre-back Jonny Evans.
The Daily Star reports that the Gunners will also table £10m as part of the offer in order to bring the Baggies defender to the Emirates.
Arsenal are allegedly the frontrunners for Evans's signature, as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger looks to provide a replacement for Per Mertesacker, who is retiring at the end of the season.
West Brom manager Alan Pardew is understood to be reluctant to sell the Northern Ireland international, but knows that he must do so if he wants to bring in new players of his own.
Manchester City also expressed interest in Evans last summer, but City boss Pep Guardiola's attention has since turned to Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
