Norwich City are prepared to demand a club-record fee of £30m or higher for Arsenal-linked attacker Emiliano Buendia this summer.

Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has affirmed that the club will not allow Emiliano Buendia to leave for anything less than a club-record fee this summer.

The 24-year-old struck 15 goals and provided 17 assists en route to the Championship title last term, and Arsenal are thought to be leading the way for his signature as they seek to bolster their creative ranks.

Ben Godfrey's £25m move to Everton last summer is currently the Canaries' most expensive departure, but Webber has hinted that a fee closer to £30m would be needed if the club were to part ways with prized assets such as Buendia, Max Aarons or Todd Cantwell.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the Norwich chief said: "If we do sell one, it's going to be a club record deal.

"It's probably going to start with a number three in front of it and that will give us great opportunities to maybe make the whole [squad] better as well. We're really relaxed on that front."

Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest in Buendia, whose deal at Carrow Road does not expire for another three years.
