Juventus have prepared themselves for a fresh Arsenal move for their Brazilian midfielder Arthur before the transfer window shuts on Monday, according to a report.
The former Barcelona midfielder has been linked with a move to North London all January, but as of yet, the two clubs have failed to agree a deal.
Now according to Calciomercato, the Turin side are expecting Mikel Arteta and Arsenal to return with a revised offer, with both them and the player keen for the move to happen.
Juve have lined up Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez as a replacement for Arthur should the move occur, with the latter reportedly pushing for an exit ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year.
The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact in Italy since his move from Spain for around £64.8m in September 2020, and has featured in just nine Serie A games so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, Arteta has been keen to strengthen his options in central midfield all month, to provide competition for the likes of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.
