Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly ready to battle it out for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The World Cup-winning stopper has fallen out of favour at Santiago Bernabeu, with Diego Lopez the preferred keeper, and the Premier League duo are both preparing a move for the Spaniard in the January transfer window, according to The Express.
The 32-year-old has been at Real Madrid his whole career but could be tempted away from the Spanish capital with his place as Spain's first choice under threat ahead of the World Cup.
Costel Pantilimon has usurped Joe Hart as City's number one in recent months, although Gunners keeper Wojciech Szczesny signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates last month.
