Lucas Perez is reportedly hoping to return to Arsenal next year in an attempt to revive his career, following a disappointing loan move at Deportivo La Coruna.

Lucas Perez is reportedly eyeing up an Arsenal return in an attempt to revive his career.

The 29-year-old has spent the season on loan at former club Deportivo La Coruna in an attempt to rediscover his goalscoring form, but he has only managed four goals this campaign.

According to the Evening Standard, Perez is hoping that another summer move could be the boost he needs to regain his confidence.

The Spaniard scored 17 goals for Deportivo in the 2015-16 season, but he has not been able to emulate the same return this year, as his loan club currently sit 19th in La Liga.

Perez, who spent just one season in North London before returning to Spain, cost Arsenal £17m in 2016.
