Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out the possibility of selling Lukas Podolski in the January transfer window.
The German forward has found it difficult to find chances in the team this season, with Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck arriving in the summer to limit the opportunities on offer.
Reports have repeatedly linked him with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, and Wenger accepts that the 29-year-old could leave the club next month.
"There is nothing concrete on Podolski. At the moment nobody goes out. But there is a lot of competition upfront," the Gunners boss told reporters after the 2-1 win over West Ham United.
"We have Mesut Ozil coming back at the beginning of January so of course there's a lot of competition for places."
A report in Italy has suggested that Inter Milan are interested in signing Podolski on loan.
