Midfielder Piotr Zielinski has reportedly decided that he would prefer to sign a new contract at Napoli over securing a move to the Premier League.
Zielinski is currently in his third season at the Italian giants, with the Poland international scoring 11 times from 85 outings in Serie A.
Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with an approach for the 24-year-old, but according to Il Mattino, Zielinski wants to remain at Napoli.
The report says that Zielinski is willing to extend his deal to 2023 but would like to insert a release clause of €80m (£71.28m).
President Aurelio de Laurentiis is allegedly against the fee and would prefer to have no set price present in any improved terms.
Zielinski currently has just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
