Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim has revealed that Radamel Falcao will make his long-awaited return from injury at the Emirates Cup this weekend.
The 28-year-old has been ruled out of action since January after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in his side's 3-0 win over Monts D'or Azergues.
He had hoped to be fit to play for Colombia in this summer's World Cup, but he was left out of Jose Pekerman's squad after failing to recover in time.
"Falcao will play this weekend," Jardim told reporters. "Not the entire game but at least 15 to 20 minutes on Saturday and perhaps more on Sunday against Arsenal.
"He is anxious to play again. He is close to having recovered 100% of his physical fitness. This will be a very good test for him before the resumption of Ligue 1."
Falcao has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the striker has recently played down any suggestions that he will be joining the European champions.
