Claudio Ranieri: "Paris Saint-Germain are on another level"

Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri says that his side must be "at 120%" if they are to beat Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri has claimed that his side will need to be "at 120%" if they are to beat Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Les Rouge et Blanc go into the match knowing that if they lose at the Stade Louis II, they will be eight points adrift of the reigning champions.

Ranieri has conceded that despite having home advantage, his team will not be the favourites.

"It's one thing to have positive thoughts, wanting to win," Soccerway quotes Ranieri as saying. "But it is also important to be realistic.

"We will fight for victory, but it is important to tell the truth. PSG are on another level. PSG can win playing at 80%, we must be at 120% to win.

"What matters to me is to gain experience against a great team. This is a great game to play, a good opportunity to gauge our level. The result is almost secondary."

The sides played out a 1-1 draw when they last met in September.
