Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke says that he is determined to play in the League Cup final at Wembley this year.

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has said that he is determined to reach the final of the League Cup.

The Villans will host Bradford City at Villa Park in the second leg of their semi-final tie on Tuesday.

"For us, it is a great chance to go to Wembley," he told The Mirror. "I want to go for a second time there. I was there with Belgium [for an international match against England] but only on the bench.

"Now I want to be there on the field. Wembley is an amazing stadium and a lot of great players have played there.

"We know what we have to do and want to win this game. It is going to be a massive chance for us and the club. I like it when you have a lot riding on the matches and extra motivation."

Villa lost the first leg 3-1 to Bradford at Valley Parade earlier this month.
