Aston Villa winger Andreas Weimann has warned his teammates to beware a Crystal Palace side seeking revenge in the Premier League in tomorrow afternoon's meeting.
The Villans have won just two of their last nine games in the top flight, which includes a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park earlier this month.
Managerless Palace, who could have Alan Pardew in charge ahead of the reverse fixture, visit the Midlands on New Year's Day with three vital points on the line.
"I'm sure they'll be up for the game especially as we beat them at their place and they'll probably want to get one back on us," Weimann is quoted as saying by ESPN. "I'm sure we'll be ready and thirsty to get the three points."
Villa are currently 13th in the league table.
