Aston Villa are thought to be planning a move for former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde.
The 20-year-old, who would cost the Premier League side nothing, left Ibrox earlier this week after he volunteered to quit without redundancy pay in order to help the finances of the club.
Despite a number of teams being interested in the Scotland Under-20s international, Villa are amongst the frontrunners to secure his signature, according to The Mirror.
Wylde signed for Rangers in 2009 after spending his youth career with rivals Celtic.
