Atletico Madrid fly into 3-0 lead over Sevilla at the break in tonight's La Liga clash at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.

Atletico Madrid hold a comfortable 3-0 lead over Sevilla at the break in tonight's La Liga clash at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.

Following a frantic start, the home side were awarded a spot kick with 20 minutes on the clock as Federico Fazio was sent off for his foul on Radamel Falcao. The Colombian striker had no problems converting from 12 yards to give Madrid the advantage.

The hosts dominated after going in front and they scored again with five minutes left to play in the half when Arda Turan's deflected effort found its way past Andres Palop.

It got better for Atletico moments later through Koke's instinctive finish after some indecision in the Sevilla box.
