Report: Andres Iniesta facing six weeks out

A report claims that Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta could miss the next six weeks of the season with a hamstring injury.

Andres Iniesta could reportedly miss the next six weeks of the season after picking up a hamstring injury in Barcelona's 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The Spanish midfielder limped off in the second half of the European clash, with Barca later revealing that the veteran had picked up a hamstring problem.

The Catalan side gave no indication of how long their skipper would be out of action, but according to El Laguero, the 31-year-old is unlikely to be available until November due to the severity of the strain.

Barcelona's growing injury list also includes Lionel Messi, Rafinha, Adriano and Thomas Vermaelen.
