Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Real Valladolid

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of next week's La Liga clash with Real Valladolid.

Barcelona will be looking to make it seven straight wins in all competitions when they welcome Real Valladolid to Camp Nou next week.

The Spanish champions were due to face Real Madrid in the first Clasico of the season this weekend, but the fixture has been postponed due to civil unrest in Barcelona.

As a result, Ernesto Valverde's side will not be back on the field until Tuesday night when Valladolid make the trip to Catalonia in La Liga.

The Catalan giants will enter the match off the back of a 2-1 victory at Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday, which made it six straight wins in all competitions for the team currently top of La Liga.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the match.

Sergi Roberto

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 29 (vs. Real Valladolid)

Sergi Roberto picked up a knee injury during his team's 3-0 win over Eibar last weekend. The Catalan giants are yet to put a timeframe on the Spaniard's return, although it would be a surprise if he made this match.

Samuel Umtiti

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 29 (vs. Real Valladolid)

Samuel Umtiti returned from a knee injury to feature against Eibar in the league last weekend, but a bruised knee kept him out of the midweek Champions League game in Prague. It remains to be seen whether the France international is fit enough to return to the squad against Valladolid.
