Barcelona have announced that Luis Suarez will be presented to supporters at Camp Nou on Monday following the outcome of his appeal against a four-month ban.
The 27-year-old, who signed for Barca from Liverpool for a reported £75m fee earlier this summer, was not officially unveiled by the club at the time due to his ban from all football-related activity.
After taking his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, it was announced today that the suspension has been upheld, but the prolific striker is allowed to train and take part in friendlies.
Barca have confirmed on their official website that the Uruguayan international will take part in his first training session with his new teammates tomorrow and will be presented to the fans ahead of Monday's Joan Gamper Trophy match.
A statement from the Spanish side said: "FC Barcelona hereby announces that the player will join the first team's training session scheduled for tomorrow Friday at 9.30am CET in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
"Likewise, the public presentation of Suárez as a new FC Barcelona player will be held on Monday at the Camp Nou, on occasion of the Joan Gamper Trophy match."
Suarez was issued with the lengthy suspension by FIFA after biting the shoulder of Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup in Brazil.
