Eric Abidal admits that he is unlikely to sign a new deal at Barcelona.

Barcelona left-back Eric Abidal has admitted that his future at the club is in doubt as he has not yet been in talks over a new contract.

Abidal has recently returned to action after a liver transplant but has said that Barcelona are now unlikely to want to keep him.

"If they still haven't contacted me at this stage of the season, it's because they don't want me to continue at the club," Marca quotes Abidal as saying.

His agent David Venditelli has confirmed that Barca are yet to make contact to discuss a new deal.

"We will accept any decision the club makes," he said. "The worst part right now is the uncertainty. We've had a meeting scheduled with the president since February, but we're still waiting."

Abidal joined Barca from Lyon in 2007.
