Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has said that goalkeeper Samir Handanovic will not be leaving the club.
The 28-year-old Slovenia international has reportedly attracted the interest of La Liga side Barcelona.
"I don't think there's anything to it," Football Italia quotes him as saying.
"I also read the newspaper report, but I read a lot of things that aren't true, I can't deny all of them.
"Handanovic will stay. We don't need to replace a goalkeeper of this level, we probably need a new midfielder instead."
The shot-stopper moved to Inter from Udinese in 2012.
