Half-Time Report: Nottingham Forest go in at half time one goal up against Bolton Wanderers

Nottingham Forest deservedly lead 2-1 at half time, thanks to goals from Chris Burke and Michail Antonio.

Nottingham Forest have gone in to the break one up against Bolton Wanderers, thanks to goals from Chris Burke and Michail Antonio, with Adam le Fondre scoring a penalty for the away team.

Forest started brightly with Henri Lansbury curling a free kick straight at Andy Lonergan, before smashing a shot over the bar while under pressure in the box.

Winger Burke then put Forest ahead in the eighth minute after his initial shot was parried by Lonergan, but he was in the right place to bury the rebound into the net. Antonio quickly added a second, dribbling into the box and shrugging off Bolton defenders before firing into the bottom corner.

Bolton nearly cut the deficit straight away, Josh Vela's long-range effort just curling wide of the post, before Dorian Dervite was denied on the line after a Matt Mills header caused confusion in the box.

Nottingham defender Tim Ream then had to leave the field on a stretcher, before Zach Clough was brought down in the penalty area, Adam le Fondre converting from the resulting spot kick.
