Team News: Marco Reus, Mats Hummels miss out for Borussia Dortmund

Injuries keep Marco Reus and Mats Hummels out of the Borussia Dortmund squad to face Hoffenheim in the DFB-Pokal.

Marco Reus and Mats Hummels have both missed out on a place in the Borussia Dortmund squad for the DFB-Pokal quarter-final against Hoffenheim at Signal Iduna Park.

Injuries prevent Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp from selecting the key duo, but he has decided against resting Ilkay Gundogan, who starts in midfield alongside Sven Bender.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line once again as Ciro Immobile and Adrian Ramos are forced to settle for spots on the bench, while Shinji Kagawa and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will provide support for the lone striker.

Hoffenheim are handed a boost as Ermin Bicakcic returns from injury to start in defence, but Niklas Sule remains on the sidelines.

Anthony Modeste starts the evening on the bench as Sven Schipplock keeps his place up front.

Dortmund: Langerak, Durm, Sokratis, Subotic, Schmelzer, Gundogan, Bender, Blaszczykowski, Kagawa, Mkhitayran, Aubameyang

Hoffenheim: Baumann, Beck, Bicakcic, Strobl, Toljan, Schwegler, Rudy, Polanski, Firmino, Volland, Schipplock
