Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Finland international goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa.
The 30-year-old had been without a club after leaving Dutch side VVV-Venlo at the end of last season.
Maenpaa, whose former teams include Willem II and AZ, has won 24 caps for his country.
"We are pleased to welcome Niki to the club," manager Chris Hughton told Brighton's official website. "It's no secret that I wanted another goalkeeper, alongside David Stockdale and Casper Ankergren, who will compete hard for that solitary first-team slot.
"Like all our other recruits this summer, Niki's got plenty of top-flight experience, including games at international level. Having already played in France and Holland, he is now keen to prove himself in English football."
Brighton get their Championship campaign underway at home to Nottingham Forest on August 7.
