Jose Mourinho has paid tribute to striker Fernando Torres for his impressive display during Chelsea's win over Schalke 04 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Spaniard netted twice at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, while Eden Hazard added the third and final goal to help the Blues to a 3-0 win in Group E.
"Fernando [Torres] played very well today," Mourinho said in a press conference. "He's a hard worker. He's not the kind of guy to hide behind the fee that Chelsea paid for him.
"Even when he's not performing very well, he always maintains his professionalism. And since I've arrived, he's always been positive. He's a player I respect and trust."
