Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Jorginho will play no part of the Europa League clash with BATE Borisov.
Jorginho has established himself as a regular in the Chelsea side since joining from Napoli in the summer, with 11 starts being made in all competitions.
The 26-year-old has also played four times for Italy, and that has resulted in Sarri claiming that Jorginho requires a rest ahead of the weekend clash with Burnley.
At a press conference, Sarri told reporters: "Jorginho needs to rest now because he played 90 minutes in two matches for his national team, and then he played for 90 minutes in the last match.
"I think it's time to rest for him."
Eden Hazard will also sit out the match at Stamford Bridge due to a back injury.
