Saturday's Premier League predictions including Manchester City vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester City vs. Chelsea.

Leeds vs. Spurs (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to give their chances of a top-four finish in this season's Premier League a boost when they travel to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs are currently sixth in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea on the same number of games (34), while Leeds occupy 11th position in England's top flight, just two points off ninth-placed Arsenal.

We say: Leeds United 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs need the points more than Leeds, who deserve so much credit for their performances this season; it would not be a surprise to see a home win or a draw this weekend, but Tottenham were excellent against Sheffield United last time out, and we can just see the visitors edging a very tight match here.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sheff Utd vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Already-relegated Sheffield United welcome Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace to Bramall Lane on Saturday, as they look to bounce back from a heavy 4-0 defeat last time out and build some momentum going into the Championship next season.

The Blades have remained at the foot of the Premier League table for the majority of the campaign, and they will hope to limit the damage with a second victory from their last three games in the top flight.

We say: Sheffield United 0-1 Crystal Palace

Sheffield United have struggled for goals this season, while only keeping three clean sheets in 34 Premier League outings, and we see those trends continuing with a narrow home defeat on Saturday.

Crystal Palace should see this as a great opportunity to return to winning ways and confirm their survival after a tough spell of fixtures.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man City vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 5.30pm)

In a dress rehearsal for the upcoming all-English Champions League final, Manchester City host Chelsea in Saturday's Premier League showdown at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's men booked their tickets to Istanbul with a 4-1 aggregate victory over last year's runners-up Paris Saint-Germain, while Chelsea beat Real Madrid 3-1 over two legs to set up a European battle with their counterparts.

A win here for City would also confirm their status as Premier League champions, while Chelsea are still embroiled in a fight for a top-four finish.

We say: Manchester City 1-1 Chelsea

Neither side will want to give too much away before the European prize is up for grabs, and having both come from gruelling midweek encounters, a low-scoring affair could be on the cards here.

City have not enjoyed a perfect run at an empty Etihad this season, while Chelsea are certainly benefitting from the home advantage phenomenon being wiped out in the absence of supporters, so we expect Tuchel's unbeaten away record to continue with a score draw against their Champions League final opponents.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Southampton (Saturday, 8.15pm)

Liverpool will be looking to make up some lost ground and boost their chances of qualifying for the top four when they host Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Reds have won just one of their last five games in all competitions, drawing the last three in succession, and they face a Saints side who are looking to complete the league double against them for just the third time in their history, previously doing so in 1960-61 and 2003-04.

We say: Liverpool 2-1 Southampton

Liverpool have conceded at least once in each of their last eight Premier League home games, while only the division's bottom two clubs – Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion – have conceded more goals this campaign than Southampton.

Both defences have looked vulnerable since the turn of the year, but if Klopp's backline is to be breached this weekend, the likes of Adams and Redmond, in Ings's absence, will need to step up for the Saints to provide a much-needed threat going forward.

The Reds cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to qualify for the Champions League, and we can see the hosts securing a hard-fought victory at Anfield on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
