Cesc Fabregas leaks news of Antonio Conte sacking?

Chelsea midfielder seemingly confirms reports that manager Antonio Conte has been sacked before official confirmation arrives from the club.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has seemingly leaked the news that Antonio Conte has been sacked by the club.

Speculation over Conte's future at Stamford Bridge has raged throughout the summer, with Chelsea entering lengthy negotiations with Napoli to bring Maurizio Sarri to West London as his replacement.

Reports broke earlier today suggesting that the former Juventus boss had finally been sacked by the club, although no official confirmation has yet arrived.

However, Fabregas has seemingly confirmed the news on his own official Twitter account, releasing a message reading: "Thank you Mister for another Premier League title and FA Cup. It wasn't easy for me to convince you in the beginning but in the end I hope I did you proud! Good luck for the future."

Conte spent two years with Chelsea, leading them to the Premier League title and the FA Cup during that time.
