Cesar Azpilicueta "very happy" at Chelsea

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta claims that he is "very happy" at Stamford Bridge, amid suggestions that he wants to return to Marseille this summer.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has poured cold water on suggestions that he is looking to leave Stamford Bridge.

The 26-year-old joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2012 and has developed into a key player for the London club.

Rumours of a return to France this summer have gathered pace in recent weeks, but the Spanish international has claimed that he plans on "staying another few years at Chelsea".

"I plan on staying another few years at Chelsea. I'm very happy there. I'm not thinking about leaving the club. I'm only thinking of [playing for] the Blues," Azpilicueta told RMC.

"Marseille made a big impact on me and gave me the chance to discover Europe. I felt very good over there. But if I have to leave it would be for a club where I could develop even more than at Chelsea."

Azpilicueta has made more than 160 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.
