Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Aston Villa and Derby County.
Ampadu recently penned a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, but the Wales international is yet to make a single first-team outing this season.
According to the Birmingham Mail, that has resulted in both Villa and Derby considering loan offers during the January window.
The two clubs from the Midlands have recently done deals with Chelsea for some of their other prospects, with Tammy Abraham moving to Villa and Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount representing Derby.
Chelsea legends John Terry and Frank Lampard are also present at the two teams, leaving a strong possibility that the Premier League side would favour sending Ampadu to either club should they choose to loan the 18-year-old out for the rest of the campaign.
Ampadu has made a total of four starts and three substitute outings since moving to West London in 2017.
