Napoli could move for Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old joined Chelsea from Torino in the summer of 2017 and made 35 appearances in all competitions for his English club during the 2017-18 campaign.

Zappacosta has made just three appearances for the Blues this term, however, and has played just six minutes of Premier League football under Chelsea's new head coach Maurizio Sarri.

According to Rai Sport, Napoli are closely monitoring developments surrounding the Italian, and could make a move during the January transfer window.

The versatile full-back has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
