Coventry City will reportedly return to the Ricoh Arena after spending more than a year playing in Northampton following a dispute with stadium operators ACL.
The League One club were forced to play their home matches 35 miles away following a fall-out, which resulted in the club withholding rent from ACL.
Before the start of last season, Coventry agreed a three-year ground-share deal with Northampton Town following the dispute, with an option of a further two years.
However, according to the Coventry Telegraph, an agreement has been reached between club owners Sisu and ACL for the Sky Blues to return to the Ricoh Arena, possibly as early as September.
The local press have claimed that an official announcement will be made this afternoon, but the return will require Football League approval.
