Neil Danns scored one goal and created another as ten-man Leicester City claimed all three points from their trip to Crystal Palace this afternoon.
The winger broke the deadlock in the 19th minute when he capitalised on a poor clearance from Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price to score from 18 yards out.
He then swung over a 37th-minute corner which was eventually converted by centre-back Souleymane Bamba.
Hosts Palace got themselves back into the game on the stroke of half-time courtesy of Norwegian midfielder Jonathan Parr, who scored from the edge of the area.
Wilfried Zaha went close to drawing Palace level after the break, but his effort was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
With two minutes remaining veteran Leicester striker Steven Howard was handed his marching orders following a collision with goalscorer Parr.
Leicester have moved up to tenth in the Championship table with the three points.
