England boss Gareth Southgate is reportedly expected to hand Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn a Three Lions call-up for the upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Italy.
Gunn, who is on loan from Manchester City, was drafted in as cover for the injured Jack Butland when England played Brazil in November, but the 22-year-old did not play a part in that game.
According to The Mirror, however, Gunn, who has continued to impress at Carrow Road, is now in line to be given an England cap in either of this month's ties.
The newspaper adds that Southgate is an admirer of the goalkeeper and is keen to add to his list of options between the sticks for this summer's World Cup, with Butland, Joe Hart and Jordan Pickford also expected to be involved.
Gunn was born in Norwich and earned his first 10 caps with the England Under-21s while Southgate was in charge of the team.
