Seamus Coleman: 'We need to maintain our form'

Everton defender Seamus Coleman believes that his side need to keep up their excellent run of form to clinch a place in the Champions League next season.

Everton defender Seamus Coleman believes that his side need to maintain their good run of form if they are to finish in the Champions League places this season.

The Toffees moved above Arsenal into fourth place in the Premier League as an own goal from Wes Brown was enough to beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Coleman is now eyeing further success when his side take on Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

He told Sky Sports News: "Fourth place is what we have been looking for and thankfully we are still in with a shout at this stage of the season.

"When you are going for fourth, there are games you need to win if you going to get there, and thankfully we managed to do it. Things are going well at the minute and we just need to keep it going.

"Now it's about beating Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, that's as far as I'm looking forward and hopefully we can. We are where we want to be and we are looking at Crystal Palace now, because we have got to win that game."

Everton are fourth in the Premier League with 66 points after 34 games this season.
