Everton's David Moyes 'concerned' over Darron Gibson injury

Everton manager David Moyes says that losing midfielder Darron Gibson for five weeks to a thigh injury is a "blow" for the Toffees.

Everton manager David Moyes has claimed that he will try to find a solution following the injury blow to midfielder Darron Gibson.

The Republic of Ireland international has been ruled out for up to five weeks after suffering a thigh injury while on duty during his side's 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

"It is a concern for me because he has been very consistent and very good," said Moyes. "It is a blow but we will have to find ways of getting around it."

Meanwhile, the Scottish boss has offered his support to the families of the Hillsborough tragedy victims.
