Everton are reportedly in discussions with Bournemouth over a January deal for Joshua King.
The 28-year-old has not scored in eight Championship appearances for the Cherries this season but continues to be linked with a return to the Premier League.
West Ham United and Newcastle United have both been credited with an interest in the Norway international, whose existing deal at the Vitality Stadium is due to expire this summer.
However, according to The Sun, Everton are in talks with the Cherries over a swap deal, with the Championship outfit keen on Toffees duo Jarrad Branthwaite and Jonjoe Kenny.
The attacker was linked with a return to Manchester United last January but was ultimately denied a switch to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, who instead moved for Odion Ighalo.
King has found the back of the net on 48 occasions in 161 Premier League appearances.
