Tuesday's La Liga predictions including Valencia vs. Villarreal

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Valencia vs. Villarreal.

Getafe vs. Rayo Vallecano (Tuesday, 4.00pm)

Getafe will be bidding to continue their strong run of form when they return to La Liga action against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday afternoon.

Jose Bordalas's side, who are eighth in the table, drew 3-3 with Atletico Madrid in their final match before the winter break, while 11th-placed Rayo lost 1-0 at home to Valencia last time out.

We say: Getafe 2-1 Rayo Vallecano

Both of these sides have drawn eight times in the league this season, so it would not be a surprise to see the points shared on Tuesday, which has been the case in their last three meetings. However, Getafe's form ahead of the winter break was excellent, and we are backing them to shade this clash.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Real Sociedad vs. Alaves (Tuesday, 6.15pm)

Real Sociedad will be bidding to return to winning ways when they open their 2024 with a La Liga contest against fellow Basque outfit Alaves on Tuesday evening.

The home side drew 0-0 with Cadiz ahead of the winter break in Spain's top flight, while Alaves suffered a 1-0 defeat to division leaders Real Madrid last time out.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-0 Alaves

Alaves might have problems scoring, but they have only conceded 24 times this season, which is far from disastrous. Real Sociedad are also finding it difficult to win at the moment, so we are expecting this to be a tight match, but the hosts should have enough quality to secure all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Valencia vs. Villarreal (Tuesday, 8.30pm)

Both Valencia and Villarreal will be aiming to make it successive wins in Spain's top flight when the two teams lock horns at Mestalla on Tuesday evening.

Valencia entered the winter break in La Liga off the back of a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano in Madrid, while Villarreal's last match saw them run out 3-2 winners against Celta Vigo on home soil.

We say: Valencia 2-1 Villarreal

Both teams will be missing some important players for this match, but Villarreal will be hit harder in terms of absentees. It would not be a surprise to see the points shared on Tuesday, but we believe that Valencia have enough quality to navigate their way to a narrow success in front of their own supporters.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
