Luis Garcia struggles to find positives

Getafe boss Luis Garcia bemoans Saturday's goalless draw with Espanyol in La Liga.

Getafe boss Luis Garcia has admitted that his side 'took another step backwards' in Saturday's goalless draw with Espanyol.

The stalemate in the Spanish capital means that Getafe have gone 11 games without a win in La Liga, a run that stretches back to the end of November when they beat Levante 1-0.

"We've ended up playing with lots of forwards. It's a difficult time for us. Today we've taken another step backwards," he told reporters at a press conference.

"The attitude of the players is good and they try everything they can. Things keep happening though and going badly for us."

Getafe currently sit 15th in the table, just four points from the bottom three.
