Scunthorpe United have reached an agreement with Huddersfield Town to extend Murray Wallace's loan spell with the club.
The 22-year-old initially joined the League One outfit on a four-week deal last month.
However, having made six appearances, the defender will now remain at Glanford Park until the end of October.
"As things stand, it made perfect sense to extend Murray's loan spell at Scunthorpe United for a further month," Huddersfield manager Chris Powell told the club's official website.
"Murray has started every game during his time at Scunthorpe, which is exactly what we wanted to see. His performances have been good and Mark Robins was keen to keep him at the club. This experience will be good for his development as a centre-half."
Murray has made 41 starts for Huddersfield following his switch from Falkirk in January 2012.
