Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic has claimed that the team can challenge for the Serie A title next season.
The Nerazzurri have signed six new players this summer following their eighth-place finish last term.
Kovacic, 21, believes that Inter are capable of returning to the summit of Italian football, but they will need "a little bit of luck" along the way if they want to dethrone champions Juventus.
"Last year we did badly, now we'll build something new," he told the club's in-house television channel. "We've got a lot of good lads, a lot of young players and a few with experience. The gap to Juventus? We can compete with anyone, we just need a little bit of luck."
Kovacic recently revealed that he is eager to stay at San Siro following reported interest from Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen.
