Preview: Atalanta BC vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole previews Inter Milan's trip to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia to face Atalanta BC in Serie A.

Inter Milan travel to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia to play Atalanta BC on Sunday after returning to winning ways against Palermo last weekend.

The 3-0 victory at San Siro regained their position in the top half of the Serie A standings to move to within five points of sixth place.

However, coach Roberto Mancini will be aware that the win will be forgotten about should they lose at Atalanta, and the Italian boss remains under pressure to deliver victories at the club.

Mancini could bring in Dodo to replace Yuto Nagatomo, while striker Mauro Icardi will be hoping to maintain his recent good form by improving his tally of six goals in eight matches.

Atalanta host the Nerazzurri having put together a run of just two wins in nine games in all competitions.

However, they were unfortunate to fall to a last-minute defeat at Fiorentina last weekend, and Inter's poor record on the road could play into the hands of coach Stefano Colantuono.

Colantuono could hand a start to Cristiano Del Grosso, while on-loan attacker Mauricio Pinilla is also in contention to feature against the Italian giants.

Atalanta:

Form in Serie A: DDWLWL
Form in all competitions: DWLLWL

Possible starting lineup: Sportiello, Stendardo, Del Grosso, Masiello, Benalouane, Zappacosta, Cigarini, Gomez, Moralez, Carmona, Denis

Inter Milan:

Form in Serie A: DWDLLW
Form in all competitions: DWLLLW

Possible starting lineup: Handanovic, Dodo, Santon, Ranocchia, Juan, Medel, Guarin, Shaqiri, Brozovic, Palacio, Icardi

Sports Mole says: 1-2
