Roberto Mancini rules out Mario Balotelli return

Roberto Mancini says that Mario Balotelli is happy at Liverpool, following speculation that he could make a return to Inter Milan.

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has said that he is not interested in signing Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli.

The two previously worked together at Inter and Manchester City and there has been speculation that Balotelli could return to Italy following a poor start to his career at Anfield.

However, Mancini has claimed that the striker is happy at the Reds and has backed him to be a success in the Premier League.

"Mario is happy at Liverpool, he has a great chance and was fortunate enough to go back to one of England's biggest clubs," he told reporters. "He has to make the most of this opportunity."

Balotelli has scored twice for Liverpool this season, but is yet to find the net in the Premier League.
