Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has revealed that winger Josh Carson could soon be on his way out of the Suffolk club.
McCarthy was speaking after his side's 3-3 draw at Notts County in their final pre-season friendly.
He told reporters at Meadow Lane that Carson, 20, who spent a month last season on loan at York City, was due to go on trial with another club next week. McCarthy did not name the club.
The draw against Notts County saw the Tractor Boys' 100% pre-season record come to an end. Their first game of the new Championship campaign is away to Reading in a week's time.
